Media & Entertainment Collection: what the collection includes

The Media & Entertainment Collection is the bundle for studios and artists who move between character animation, environment modelling and rendering. Maya for animation and VFX, 3ds Max for modelling and architectural visualisation, MotionBuilder for motion-capture editing and Mudbox for sculpting and texture painting are all included, with Arnold for final-frame rendering across the applications.

AutoSoftKey supplies the collection as a 3-year licence for Windows at a price that makes it the obvious choice over any two applications bought separately.

Applications in the collection

  • Animation and VFX: Maya with Bifrost, nCloth and the full rigging toolset.
  • Modelling and rendering: 3ds Max with Arnold and the Chamfer, Boolean and retopology tools.
  • Motion capture: MotionBuilder for real-time character animation and mocap clean-up.
  • Sculpting and painting: Mudbox for multi-resolution sculpting and 3D texture painting.
  • Rendering: Arnold across Maya and 3ds Max, plus Autodesk cloud rendering credits where applicable.

Who buys the Media & Entertainment Collection

Animation and games studios, VFX freelancers, architectural visualisation teams that also animate, and educators. A single-application user is better served by the standalone Maya or 3ds Max pages.

Choosing your release year

The collection is supplied for Windows. Select a release year from 2024 to 2027 — most buyers match the release used by their main application, typically Revit or Inventor — and the 3-year term applies to every option.

Collection versus buying applications individually

Price for 3 years £117 for three apps From £59

Compatibility and system requirements

Each application in the collection has its own system requirements; the most demanding — Revit, Inventor, 3ds Max and Navisworks — call for 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, 32 GB of RAM for large models, a multi-core processor, a dedicated graphics card with 4 GB or more and 100 GB+ of disk space if you install everything.

An Autodesk account and internet connection are required for download, installation and licence validation.

Always check the current release against Autodesk’s published system requirements before you order, because minimum specifications move with each release.

Orders are fulfilled digitally — there is nothing to post. Once payment is confirmed, your licence details and step-by-step setup instructions go to the email address you entered at checkout.
