Kaspersky FAQs

Is Kaspersky safe to use in the UK?

Kaspersky’s consumer products are on sale and supported in the UK. The 2024 ban applies to the United States. The UK’s NCSC guidance on Russian-headquartered vendors is directed at government and critical-infrastructure organisations, not home users.

Is Kaspersky banned in the UK?

No. Kaspersky is not banned in the UK; its products continue to be sold and updated here.

Which Kaspersky is best?

Standard for one PC that only needs protection, Plus for the VPN and password manager, Premium for families and remote support.

How many devices and how long?

Choose 1, 3 or 5 devices and a 1- or 2-year term on the product page. Devices can mix Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.

How do I renew?

Buy a new activation code for the same plan before the term ends and apply it in the app or in My Kaspersky. There is no automatic renewal charge.

What is the difference between Kaspersky Standard and Internet Security?

Kaspersky renamed its range in 2022: Standard and Plus replaced Internet Security, and Premium replaced Total Security.
