Office 2019 Professional Plus: the classic one-off suite at a lower price

Office 2019 Professional Plus is the previous-generation perpetual edition of Office. It still installs the full desktop applications — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher and Access on Windows — and it is the cheapest way to put a complete, subscription-free Office on a machine that will be used for ordinary documents, spreadsheets and email.

Be clear about one thing before you buy: Microsoft’s support for Office 2019 ended on 14 October 2025. The applications continue to run and activate, but they no longer receive security updates, which matters most for Outlook and any machine handling untrusted documents. If you want a supported perpetual edition, Office 2021 Professional Plus is the one to choose. For current support, choose Office 2021.

Choosing devices and platform

Select Windows or Mac and 1, 3 or 5 devices. The Mac option supplies the macOS edition of Office 2019 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote); Access and Publisher are Windows-only. Microsoft supports Office 2019 for Mac only on macOS versions it still lists, so check compatibility before ordering the Mac option.

Windows: Windows 10 or Windows 11, 4 GB of RAM (64-bit), 4 GB of disk space, 1280 × 768 display. Mac: a macOS version supported for Office 2019 at installation. A Microsoft account and internet access are needed for activation.
